[제9회 부산 인터시티 영화제 인터시티 섹션 상영작 발표]
한 편의 영화가 먼 도시로부터 도착한 안부처럼 느껴질 때가 있습니다. 부산 인터시티 영화제는 해마다 그렇게 전해오는 인사를 소중히 여기며 도시와 사람 사이의 우정을 이어 왔습니다. 올해도 인터시티 섹션에서는 서로 다른 배경을 가진 창작자들이 영화라는 언어로 소통하는 순간들을 목격할 수 있습니다. 선정 여부를 떠나 창작자들이 개성적인 시각으로 도시와 세상을 바라보는 방식을 만날 수 있는 기회이기도 했습니다. 개별 영화들이 품은 태도와 영화에 대한 애정을 확인하며 올해 인터시티 섹션의 상영작들을 발표합니다. 이 여정에 함께해주신 모든 연출자 여러분께 깊이 감사드립니다. 변함없는 신뢰와 협력으로 늘 든든한 동행이 되어 주시는 국내외 관계자 여러분께도 진심을 담아 감사 인사를 함께 전합니다.

[9th Busan Inter-City Film Festival : Inter-City Section Official Selections]
Sometimes, a film feels like a greeting from a faraway city. Each year, the Busan Inter-City Film Festival has welcomed these cinematic messages with care, continuing friendships between places and people.
This year's Inter-City Section will once again offer a space where filmmakers from different corners of the world share how they see their cities—and the world—through film. Regardless of which works were ultimately selected, the process offered a chance to meet a range of honest and distinct perspectives.
We've tried to pay attention to the values and affections each film holds, and with that in mind, we now share the screening films invited to this year's Inter-City Section.
Our sincere thanks go to all the directors who shared their films with us, and to the many partners—both near and far—who have continued to walk alongside this festival with trust and generosity.
